Friday, February 3, 2012 - The first thing that comes to mind when I smell this wine is an empty pizza box. You know that smell, when you open that box hoping there is one more slice int here, but alas there is not. There is an aroma that wafts up when the box is closed. On the palate this is a really smooth wine with intense black fruit and some cola notes. It exhibits a long, smooth finish and has just the right amount of tannins. This is the first time I have had a Touriga Nacional based wine and I am loving it.
