Sunday, December 16, 2012 - Nose of tropical flowers and nutmeg. Thick in the mouth, with some more flowers and a rush of acid (which is OK) which overtakes the finish, leaving a citrus echo. All the components are good, but they clash with each other as if they were jockying for supremacy. Perhaps time will mellow this rambunctious wine, or perhaps it is meant for a summer meal of fish and herbs (as opposed to tonight's winter meal of soup by the fireplace)
