Monday, January 4, 2021 - Final of 6 bottles, last tasted 10 months ago.
This was showing fantastically tonite...dark fruits, perfectly ripened, perhaps slowly baked into a savory pie, with some cooking spice, moist soil, a hint of anise, alongside perfectly moderated acidity and finely grained tannins. This is not your typical CdR, nor would you expect Clape to bottle a pedestrian wine. I think it is drinking at or near it's apogee now, enjoy.
