Saturday, May 27, 2023 - Vertical/Horizontal Tasting of Chevillon Nuits St. Georges Premier Crus (San Francisco): Ruby. Mix of camphor and fruit tones. Medium weight, excellent concentration. Blue fruit, soil, creosote, excellent acidity, tannins that expand and cling. Excellent length. Impressively substantial with real palate impact. Classic Nuits. I had a chance to revisit it later, and it had become even sweeter with a more caressing texture. The first outstanding wine of this tasting and probably the best of the 2013's and 2010's shown today.
