Sunday, July 24, 2022 - Ruby. Some menthol and candied fruit with an urgent gamy undertone and a fair amount of oak. Medium weight, sappy, not huge or foreboding for this cru. Adolescent but quite approachable. Ripe dark cherry, a good dollop of soil, and broad tannins to finish. Probably halfway to peak drinking but balanced enough to be really enjoyable now.
