Community Tasting Note

El_Dougo Does not like this wine:

Wednesday, March 29, 2023 - First thought: the wife would love this. Second thought: probably not at the top of classic champagne oenophiles’ list. More floral than autolytic, I think of Prosecco as much as I do champagne here.
Not to say there aren’t any yeast / biscuity notes (more almond and blossom, however), and the body is light, acidic and perhaps in the higher end of the dosage range for brut.
This is quick refreshment at best (for me), certainly not a bottle to really enjoy. That said, could be a nice introductory champagne for someone new to the category (no offense to the wife!). 88 pts for one glass only!
