Friday, March 27, 2015 - Wine group dinner for Aniko at Yans China Bistro with Alex Yan doing the cooking. First bottle of champagne opened, brought by Joe. Nice mousse in the glass, lots of medium bubbles, nose of Jonathan apple, baked tart, yeast, and touches of minerals, more of the same on the palate, touch simple but a mouth filling start to the evening, medium body, and medium/long finish with good acid, better in two years.
