89 Points

Sunday, December 29, 2019 - A blend of more than 100 wines, made with 50-55% Pinot Noir, 30-35% Pinot Meunier and 15-20% Chardonnay, 10-20% reserve wines and 10 gr/l dosage. Lot L190379, so presumably bottled in March 2019. There’s good complexity here, with a nice balance between youthful freshness and toasty brioche, and lots of Pinot spice and red apple fruit, hint of citrus, silky texture, rounded and vibrant, but the dosage sticks out a bit on the slightly sugary finish. Very come-hither. I bought a half case (reduced to 50% at my local supermarket), and I think I will keep my remaining bottles until the festive season next year. If the dosage integrates well, there should be a one point upside at at least.
