Saturday, April 10, 2021 - From glass. Nose lemony, toasty. Bruised apple, something nutty, also a bit of ginger. A kind of general audiences champagne nose. Palate much drier, tighter, and chalkier than the nose led me to expect, with those nose notes all giving a lively showing, especially the ginger. Acid not at all beastly. Would imagine that this is one of the better-value big-house NV champers. Very, very good.
