Monday, April 24, 2023 - Ruby color with browning at edges. Nose slightly muted but clear cocoa. Nice acidity stands out along with the velvety mouth feel. Medium body. The grippy tannins smooth out with air. The palate is enjoyable and there is still plenty of fruit along with chocolate. The alcohol does not seem fully integrated as it stands out at the end quite a bit. Lingering finish with cherries, Enjoyable and doesn’t seem over the hill. Probably at peak.
