Saturday, June 18, 2016 - Light translucent ruby in the glass; complex nose with tar, roses, undergrowth, and menthol.

Well-integrated on the palate, adequate acidity, finish is a touch short. Sweet & sour cherry fruit, with just the slightest hint of unresolved tannin on the finish. Not bad at all right now - I would call this "youthfully mature", and see no reason why it couldn't drink at a similar level for another 10 years.
