Saturday, March 27, 2010 - Complex and profound nose of dried fruit, blackberries, vanilla/toast, forest floor and gamey aromas; on the palate relatively dry with chunky tannins; drying finish. Seems completely mature but there is an edge of 1998 hardness. Let's see where this goes. Drink 2013/18?
