92 Points

Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - Aged meat and Aged Cabs (Mister Fister's, Chicago IL): Nose: Perfumed and balanced nose with tones of dark red cherries, cedar, bell peppers, american oak, vanilla, and some black currants. There is nice depth and class with a refined maturity to it.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium acidity and silky tannins. Refined and balanced with silky tones of dark red cherries, cedar, bell peppers, american oak, black currants, and some autumn leaves.

Overall: This was a real classy and mature California Cab. This hearkened to a previous era of California Cabs and it was drinking well into the night.
