Thursday, May 17, 2018 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 5/17/2018-5/19/2018 (Chicago, IL): A very lovely bottle of 1996 Burgundy -- a lovely nose of red fruit and earth, with a really incredible spiciness to it. The palate is definitely on the acidic side, as is normal for the vintage, but there's so much earth, spice, and red fruit here.
