Wednesday, April 15, 2015 - Was not as impressed with this as I thought I would be. Have read many excellent reviews of this and maybe it suffered a bit because of the quality of the wines drank before it. I found it a little party or stewed which is unusual for Barossa in 2004. Maybe it was just the very sweet oak that was out of balance, but it didn't hit the spot for me. Still has massive fruit and tannins to suggest a long life ahead.
