Monday, April 15, 2019 - More restrained than the ‘01 tasted alongside, and obviously needing more time. Key lime pie, a unique lemon/lime interplay of more ample, lush fruit with the acidity poking out on the finish. The fruit comes across as riper and wider than the ‘01. I wonder if the alcohol was roughly the same? Lots more obvious power to the fruit, long and rich. Try again in 4-5 years +.
