Saturday, September 2, 2017 - Transparent garnet-ruby. Ripe raspberry fruit, clove and cardamom, toasted cedar and sea buckthorn comprise a floral-herbal-spicy-fruity concoction that is deliciously appetizing. Lemon-lime acid refreshes and highlights the fruit, which is carried by wonderfully silky tannin. This wine is a breathtaking beauty with superb finesse, elegance, balance and timelessness. Although already offering marvellous drinking pleasure, this wine is still vibrant and youthful and will continue to improve. It is in the end, the timelessness of this wine that sets me in awe. It is superb now, it will change but remain extraordinary for many years.
