Monday, January 27, 2014 - Just gorgeous. One of my favourite village wines over the last couple of vintages. The nose is pure pinosity. On the palate, sweet red fruits, cherries, some oak but this is nicely integrated. The whole is well-balanced and silky. The sweetness of fruit keeps you coming back for more, but it is not in any way confected. It's not tremendously concentrated and only medium length, but it would be unreasonable to expect more at this level. If wine can charm, this is a charming wine. I'm interested to know how this develops, but it will take some willpower to find out.
