Likes this wine:

Sunday, April 16, 2017 - Had this at a restaurant with friends. Have not had many of the Rousseau wines. The nose was great with cool, mineral notes, dark red fruits, hints of earth and sauvage. The palate is still pretty tightly wound and not really giving up a ton. There is fruit and earth, but generally wrapped in tannins. The depth and potential are certainly there for this to continue to develop and I think in another 5-10 years should be quite good. That said I'm not sure this really warrants the price as there is equally as good or better Gevrey wines available for significantly less. Still fun to try and a very good wine.
