Sunday, June 12, 2022 - This is a very big wine. On the first day, one only picks up on the fresh spicy angularity of the nose: dark fruit. On the second, the wine becomes a monster on the palette. And too much of a monster? Possibly. Very dark fruit just on the edge of maderisation. Does it need more time? I am no Marcel Proust, nor was I meant to be. This wine is excellent now, stuck as it is between today and tomorrow. If you have a case of it, you might read it as a narrative, and one that has a future. But for me, this is my last bottle. Fin de partie.
