Thursday, September 5, 2019 - Deep garnet color. May have been a bit of bricking at the rim but so limited as to be hard to tell. Nose of ripe berry. A little more herbal than expected upon opening but the fruit emerged after an hour or so. Mostly dark fruit, blackberry, cassis on the palate with a bit of spice, olive and mushroom. Full bodied with a long lingering finish. Still something of a tannic backbone to this.
