Tuesday, February 4, 2014 - Opened and poured. Plum, fairly complex. On the fleshy and ripe side, but still balanced. It is very enjoyable now. I do not think it will improve. I wrote without having looked at my previous note. Fairly consistent. There is indeed some complexity, but not a lot for a Bordeaux. Clearly, if you can find it for about 25 €, it is worth it. As a background note, it is my experience that contrarily to most vintages, 2003 should not be opened nor decanted in advance.
