Friday, June 26, 2015 - Purple with clear rim, medium-heavy legs. Black plum, tobacco, earth/hay, alcohol and slight smoke on the nose. Plum, black cherry, espresso and vanilla palate. Medium+ body, medium tannins and acidity. Long finish. Didn't look at the alcohol, but suspect at least 14.5% and probably more.
Drinking very well now. Suggest opening at least 2 hours in advance; would benefit from decanting to blow off some of the alcohol.
