Saturday, May 6, 1989 - With MPL at Singer & Foy tasting of '70 Bordeaux. Very nice medium-dark ruby. Looks very fine. Nose seems closed, but still some toffee-coffee scents. Rich, full-bodied, concentrated, chewy. Still, slightly hard, and not as charming as it probably was when it was younger. 5-10-15-7: 87/100.
