Sunday, January 14, 2024 - Very nice, if modest, pinot noir-based Crémant d'Alsace. Bubbles are relatively large compared to a quality Champagne or Crémant de Bourgignon, but that's because, according to the Lucien Albrecht website, the wine has spent just a year in the bottle on the secondary fermentation lees. The result is a quality sparkler for the price — certainly one for more everyday drinking than saving for a special occasion.
