Friday, August 3, 2012 - Can you get a better wine, much less sparkler for $17? Simply an amazingly versatile little wine showing cream and strawberries, maybe some watermelon and a clear finish of minerality. The acidity works with food, but it’s such a pretty wine, you almost hate to take the spotlight off of it by pairing it with anything. 12% alc. Unfortunately, our last bottle. With watermelon & crab gazpacho and strawberry salad with Jane and Jake Ford. Excellent pairings. Recommended.
