Sunday, February 14, 2016 - Very oaky upon first opening. With some air and vigorous most of the oak on the nose and palate blew off, but still had noticeable oak. Nice red fruit nose once it came through. Very nice balance and length on the palate with a pleasant medium-long finish. Perhaps give a couple more years or a Vinturi treatment if you are anxious to open this now. I have CF reserve from the same year that I think I will let sit in the cellar for at least another 5 years.
