Friday, February 17, 2012 - Lime zest, wet slate, pear, with hints of lemon custard and vanilla on the nose. Lively citric lime attack on palate balanced by round green pear fruit on mid palate. The minerality component is more metallic upfront but is quickly rounded and softened nicely by wet stone that carries through on a lingering finish. A well made classic chard – glad I gave it a try.
