Friday, May 1, 2009 - This wine was decanted and poured. It was tasted side-by-side with the 2005. This showed exceptionally well but slightly lacked some of the completeness of the 2005. This wine showed a similar profile to a bottle tasted in September of 2008 with forward, primary fruit more toned down with this bottle. This wine does show similar characteristics to the 2005 and like the 2005 should age well over the next decade.
