Saturday, May 9, 2009 - Popped and poured. This wine gets better with each bottle I open. Medium bodied. The alcohol has just about completely integrated. There was nothing disjointed about this bottle last night. Juicy cherry and dark strawberry notes that I associate with mature bottles of VT with the right amount of mineral and earth to give it some weight. A balanced wine that went well with simply prepared grilled bone in pork chop. I'll continue to enjoy these while waiting for the 05's to come around.
