Friday, June 11, 2010 - The nose had bramble fruit, cherry and anise aromas. The palate had raspberry, strawberry, licorice, earth and a fig newton-like note. This wine had a much lighter mouthfeel than I had expected. This drank much more like a Pinot Noir than what I expected from a Southern Rhone wine. Medium bodied with a medium length finish.
