Thursday, November 24, 2011 - Dark ruby hue. Aromas of raspberry, spice, and earth. Flavors of blackberry, anise, Herbs de Provemce, tar, raspberry, cherry, and earth. Very well balanced with nice freshness and acidity. Chewy tannin. Good depth and complexity on the midpalate and finish. Built for age. Seems to be sleeping a bit compared to earlier experiences. Hold for 2-3 more years. Built to age. 14.5% alcohol.
