Saturday, April 21, 2012 - Took at least an hour to open up. At first, tasted slightly acidic and alcohol but in time, you'll be rewarded. Flowers on the nose like a good CDP, but limestone and a leathery taste with bursts of cherries revealed. Wine surprised me - thought it was past its prime but after opening up think there are many more years ahead of it. Good thing I have 1 more bottle.
