Friday, December 14, 2012 - Nicely balanced to a point. The tannins were still too strong to let the wine shine but would benefit from more time in the bottle or a long decant. Tasted head to head with an 04 pegau and found the pegau to be further along and more in balance with good fruit. Brought these wines to Bibou and had with the venison medallions. CDP went very well with the medallions.
