Sunday, April 1, 2007 - Decanted 1 hour for the first taste. Not much on the nose, lots of fruit behind a wall of tannin. Let it sit a few more hours in the decanter. Wow the nose is really coming on strong now, wild cherry and blackberry effervescent nose that jumps out of the glass. Very nice on the pallate with big fruit, and spice. Poured back into the bottle for day 2 tasting. Nose not as fruity, spice and pepper taking over now. Still a wonderfull mouthfeel and loads of fruit and spice.
