Monday, May 27, 2013 - Wow, what an inauspicious beginning but what a great bottle. When I tasted it on opening it was extremely bitter, thought it was flawed. Almost got another bottle immediately, but waited. After about 20 minutes that bitterness was gone. At an hour, it was beautiful.

A mix of dark fruit flavors and red berry fruit flavors, medium bodied, a lot of minerality, garrigue spice, some black pepper that picked up the black pepper on the veal nicely, very long smooth finish. Simply gorgeous!
