Wednesday, May 2, 2007 - Dark and an almost opaque purple color with a firm nose rendolent of dark berries, spice and a subtle wafting nuance of licorice. Drank this over two days and it never backed down, though on the second day there seemed to be a more rounded texture of fruit in the grip...which never wavered from start to finish. A lot of substance here for the long haul.
