Wednesday, October 30, 2013 - This one is struggling a touch to open up and there is a slightly scorched soil, burnt herb tang. I was expecting more leather and sweeter red fruit. Nevertheless there are some more blacker elements underneath the firmer structure. No rush to drink, but I'd be pushed to place it as Chateaneuf. Some camphor coming through. Needs some more time to develop, although I'm pretty sure other bottles I've had of this have been more open.
