Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - Enjoyed with a nice wagyu beef sirloin steak. Bottle was decanted and served over the following hour. Surprisingly for a young VT, this bottle was open for business and indeed singing. Noble, rich, deep colour. Nose was a little mute but the palate was superb. Plenty of tannins but they were gorgeously sweet and backed up by lovely, refreshing dark berry fruits. An absolute winner.
