Sunday, February 12, 2017 - Popped and poured. This is a clear, strawberry-colored wine that glimmers in the glass. There is some caking on the inside of the bottle and some modest sediment toward the end -- reminder to self to decant next time. On the nose, I get kirsch, pine needles, sea breeze, stones, and scrub. In the mouth, this has sweet raspberry and wildlands notes, leaving a tangy and herbal finish. Overall, this remains a fresh and lively wine; a CdP with good balance and persistence. This is not a show-stopper wine, but plainly is very good indeed. 91 points.
