Wednesday, May 9, 2018 - Medium deep carmine with just a hint of browning - earthy, leather, stewed plum nose - smooth, velvety palate, with a dryish finish - palate shows leather and tobacco nuances to good black fruit - the fruit fades on the finish where the tannins take over - I'd say drink soon, as the tannins might outlast the fruit-this would be best with something rich/fatty to parry the tannins and draw forth the fruit.
