Monday, October 27, 2008 - This was a surprise. A bit of funk on the nose, along with classic Cabernet notes. Surprisingly lithe in the mouth. It didn't have the concentration of the 1986 Forman, but it was very good in its own right. Less concentration to the fruit, and the secondary elements didn't marry quite perfectly. Still, this was a quite complete, tasty wine. A touch drying on the finish. B+/A-
