Friday, September 30, 2022 - Very impressive power to this wine given the less than stellar vintage. Blackish crimson cor, decanted amd drank over 2 hours. Nose of blackberries, currants, cassis, graphite and pepper. Solid on the palate, more masculine than the typical Lalande but elegant, powerful mid palate and a long finish with decent complexity and dry tannins fully coated by black fruit. Quite nice.
