Monday, April 1, 2019 - Popped and poured. Surprisingly open. Medium to full bodied. Classic. Nose of black currant and lead pencil. The palate is strict with flavors of black currant, tobacco, lead pencil and some green notes. The finish is a bit abbreviated compared to what you might expect. This is a very good everyday drinking bordeaux today but I don’t expect it to develop into anything marvelous.
