Sunday, September 2, 2012 - Ranked #4 on the first day of a three day Rose blind tasting. Very pale salmon color. The nose on this wine is dominated by melon with a hint of strawberry. Dry with a clean acidity. This was the most surprising wine today as the tasting notes indicated that it would be "surprisingly deep & full" and we found the complete opposite - it was the lightest. He coaxed a bit more flavor out of it as the afternoon wore on but not much.
