Sunday, February 11, 2024 - Gave it a bit of time to breathe in the bottle. I thought the age showed in a good way, making the wine both balanced and smooth. It had the lightness of a Burgundian pinot and at the same time the earthy taste of a maturing Bordeaux, if that makes any sense. Still a bit of backbone from tannin. Lovely wine. It ended up being an excellent pairing with lamb.
