Sunday, February 1, 2015 - Tasted at a walk-around Super Bowl party from a well-cellared magnum, this 11-year-old wine flaunts intense aromas and flavors of dark bramble fruits, herbes de Provence, anise and loamy earth. Medium-to-full-bodied, fresh and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 14%), it wraps its flavors with medium-weight, fine-grained tannins and stays solid in the middle. Closing long and smooth, this is a top-notch Châteauneuf which should drink beautifully over the next decade. Drink now-2025.
