Wednesday, July 8, 2015 - This was much better than two previous bottles I have had. While the previous bottles had a stewed flavor that seemed to indicate it was passed its prime, this one was much fresher and nicely balanced. Nose was very pleasant and mid-palate showed some nice fruit, not a particularly long finish but refreshing and enjoyable. Made for a nice compliment to some pizza and pasta with fresh basil, squash and asparagus. If I could guarantee they would be as intact as this one, I'd buy a few more to keep around. Given the bottle variation I've experienced with this wine, I probably wouldn't role the dice.
