Sunday, November 20, 2011 - A lovely wine coming into its own after a decade. Softer tannins, mild fruit. Enjoyed with: eggplant parmigiana, and a "winter torte" (Chicken dark meat, chicken sausages, apricots and apples in a bread -crust pie). Not a fruit bomb. Would have enjoyed more fruit and complexity, but an usual touch to the earth.
