Friday, June 7, 2019 - Fairly subdued nose of orange, raisin, caramel, green tobacco, smoke, corn, and wood. Caramel, spice, honey, vanilla, some greenness, a hint of olive brine, and wood on the gentle palate. Lovely finish. Fairly smooth, though there is a reasonable amount of burn. This was not a knock your socks off bottle, but rather a delicious bourbon for contemplation. (1/22/16, barrel 580, rick 5)
